A question for people living in Danbury and Stamford, "Are you living paycheck to paycheck and having difficulty making ends meet?" The United Way of Western CT is looking for you.According to the News-Times, If you find yourself struggling on a day to day basis, the United Way of Western Connecticut(UWWC) is asking you to fill out a survey so they can learn about new ways to help this portion of the community.The survey can be filled out in English or Spanish by clicking on the link.

The United Way is focusing on a group of hard working people called, A-L-I-C-E, or "Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed." This is a fast growing group of people who even though they are working hard, are still having a difficult time affording the basic necessities.

If you're a part of this group, you're encouraged to not only fill out the survey, but to attend the United Ways's "Community Conversation Meetings." This will help the UWWC to arrive at beneficial decisions to help families who are struggling.

The following are upcoming "Community Conversation" dates, 1. Wednesday at 11:30am at Families Network, 5 Library Place, Danbury....2. Wednesday at 1pm at Family Centers, 60 Palmer's Hill Road, in Stamford....3. Wednesday at 6pm at Person-to-Person, 1864 Post Rd. in Darien....4.....Wednesday, October 28 at 6pm at Childcare Learning Centers, 195 Hillendale Ave in Stamford.
