Litchfield’s Arethusa Farm Opens Retail Store in West Hartford

If you've never tried a dairy product from Litchfield's Arethusa Farm, please do. I highly recommend their luxurious milks, cheeses, and my favorite - their Old Fashioned Sweet Cream Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. No exaggeration, everything that I've tried from Arethusa has exceeded my expectations.

Arethusa Farm's empire keeps expanding throughout the state of Connecticut. In addition to the gorgeous farm in Litchfield, they have retail operations in Bantam and New Haven. Today they announced on their official Fcebook page that a new location is opening it's doors in West Hartford tomorrow, June 18, 2020.

The new Arethusa Farm retail shop is located at 975 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford, right in the area of Bar Taco and their direct competition: Milkcraft and Ben & Jerry's. In my opinion, there will be no competition after Arethusa opens, their products are superior to anything coming out of corporately-produced ice cream vats.

Arethusa Farm has evolved into a true seed to table organization with the establishment of gardens that grow the produce that they sell at their seasonal farm stand, and add to the incredible dishes that they serve at their restaurant, Al Tavolo in Bantam. The West Hartford location will be open daily, starting tomorrow, from 8AM to 9PM.
