According to the NY Post, Japanese officials are pleading with the Chinese government to stop anal swab testing at airports.

Japan’s chief cabinet secretary Katsunobu Kato told a press conference that airport anal swabs for COVID-19 have caused "great psychological pain" to Japanese citizens.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin has responded by saying these tests are "in accordance with the changes in the epidemic situation as well as relevant laws and regulations."

It's not the first time China has come under fire for the controversial testing method, U.S. diplomats complained they were asked to take the test and China insists they were not forced to take it.

I can't believe I have to say this but I'm going to make it as simple as possible, there is not a destination in America or abroad that's alluring enough to endure taking this test.

The Japanese have nailed it, this test has caused "great psychological pain," and not just for those who've had to to take, but for everyone who has heard about it.

How have they conducted one successful anal swab test in China? In the states, we can't get one full load of passengers, on a plane without a fistfight over someone not wearing a mask.

Everyone said 2021 would be better that 2020 but I've seen no evidence to suggest that it is. I'd like this anal swabbing to be marked into evidence as Exhibit A please.

Here are some alternate headlines I considered for this article:

  • "They hate us, cause they A-nus"
  • "Japan cries foul over anus inspection, blames China"
  • "China engages in anal profiling, says Japan"
  • "Japan steaming mad over butt stuff, China is to blame"
