I-95 Exclusive: Wild Measures Fans Take to Get Backstage for Incubus
With over 23 million albums sold, billions of streams, and a genre-bending legacy that spans three decades, Incubus has never stopped evolving.

Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, José Pasillas II, Chris Kilmore, and new bassist Nicole Row, continue to reinvent themselves while keeping their core sound intact.
Now, they’re back on the road with their Morning View + The Hits tour, celebrating the beloved 2001 album and fan favorites from across their massive catalog. They’re coming to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, June 28th. Ahead of this monstrous CT gig, we had the chance to chat with DJ Chris Kilmore, this was our favorite moment:
Lou: You mentioned your lead singer Brandon earlier, he's been like a sex symbol for 30 years almost. What is the wildest thing you've ever seen a fan do to get access to him?
DJ Kilmore: "Oh man, the wildest thing I ever saw done was by a guy. The girls used to do some crazy stuff back in the day—they're a little more mellow now that we're older. But we were in Australia, I can't remember the city, but this guy knocked on our dressing room door after the show. The dressing room hallways are all locked down—you can't get past security. And he's wearing a white T-shirt and white pants, but he looked like he had just climbed down a chimney. He was covered in soot. We opened the door, and he's just standing there. I forget who asked him—I think it was our bass player—but he goes, "Did you climb through the air conditioning vent?" The guy goes (Aussie accent), "I DID!" He climbed through the air conditioning vent to get backstage to see us."
