If This Fish Walks Up on Land in CT You Should 100 Percent Kill It
According to KTLA 5, a Northern Snakehead Fish was reported in Southeastern Missouri in late June, that is the third U.S. sighting this year alone.
Now, wildlife officials are concerned enough that they want the public to know more about the so called "Frankenfish." The Northern Snakehead Fish is an invasive species native to East Asia that can breathe air and survive on land for days. The "Frankenfish" goes on land to look for better bodies of water to swim in.
This fish is considered a danger because it competes with and preys on native species. That's right this fish breathes air, survives on land and eats other fish. So, why do you care? You care because this mutant has been spotted in Connecticut in the past and knows where you live.
This is such an issue that wildlife experts want you to kill it. They say you should not throw it back if you catch it. Instead, they say you should throw it in a freezer for an extended period of time until it dies.
Let's get something straight right now, I'm not taking this slithering Satan spawn into my home to freeze it to death. That is all I need, I take a hot shower after a long day of fishing and lay down and just as my eyes are starting to close for the night a demon fish is breathing in my mouth and eating my soul face to face.
Not going to happen dude, I will physically fight this fish to the death on the shores of whatever body of water I find it on. But that is just me, for the rest of you they recommend the following:
- Put it the freezer for an extended period of time to kill it.
- Take a photo of it for a positive I.D.
- Note how many you saw
- Note where you saw it
- Call the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at 703-358-2148
Ohhh, so now I need to take selfies with this bitch? Nah playa I don't f--- with fish like that.
