Unfortunately, the Toronto Blue Jays have made the decision to play their 30 home games at their Triple-A ball club in Buffalo. PNC Park in Pittsburgh was also an option for the Blue Jays but was scrapped when the State of Pennsylvania turned the proposal down because of their own concerns about the spread of coronavirus.

Named the best park at the AA level, Lamont said that Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford would be ideal for the Blue Jays. He went on to say that there are two nearly empty hotels in downtown Hartford where the team could isolate while in the city and, it's only a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Boston and New York. Unfortunately, minor league baseball has been canceled for the 2020-2021 season.

The Yard Goats thanked the Governor and his team for "their quick action and hard work" in putting together a plan so that the Blue Jays could play at Dunkin' Donuts Park.

Remember... Minor League baseball, big-league fun!
