Greenwich, Connecticut, one of our wealthiest towns, has a few extra tax dollars to spend entertaining it's residents, although this event is set up as a 501c that costs Greenwich taxpayers nothing. While most cities in Connecticut hire cover bands for municipal events, Greenwich can afford true headliners. The 2025 Greenwich Town Party brought in Alanis Morisette and Ziggy Marley, in 2024 Mumford and Sons rocked the stage, and over the past 15 years legends like Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Paul Simon,, Steely Dan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and James Taylor.

Well, get ready, because the 2026 Greenwich Town Party line-up has been announced and a performer that usually sells out Mohegan Sun and the Meadows will take the stage - Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds are the headliners, while legendary Creedence Clearwater Revival vocalist John Fogerty, New Orleans' Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Elmo's Got the Moves will warm the crowd up.

Tickets for this event? As always, the Greenwich Town Party is opening it's ticket requests to residents only, but if you really want to attend you can purchase sponsorships to the event. If you can come up with $1,500- $103,000+ you will be admitted to the sponsor pavilion. Good luck, and I hope that Dave and Tim put on a great show.

Three Cities in Connecticut Desperately in Need of Trader Joe's

News broke over social media in the past 48 hours that a Trader Joe's will soon be coming to Hamden. I think the company made a good choice, but there are two other cities around the state that are just as desperate for one of their stores.

Ranking the Five Worst Parking Lots on Main Street in Watertown

Watertown has a population of just over 22,000 according to the most recent cencus, and it seems like everyone in town goes nowhere except Main Street (Rt. 63). Parking lots are always busy, and space is tight. I do not like driving through these five parking lots in particular.
