The I-95 Morning Show Catches Up With Some Pals That Just Won Big on Election Day 2025

New Milford Mayor Pete Bass won re-election on Tuesday. As a longtime friend of the I-95 Morning Show, we wanted to take a moment to congratulate him on his victory—and, of course, to commiserate over yet another disappointing New York Jets season.

Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves also secured re-election on Tuesday. We caught up with our friend to see how he’s feeling in the wake of such a big win, talk about what the victory means for the city, and hear what’s next as he heads into another term.

We also had the chance to catch up with our former colleague Bill Trotta to celebrate his big win in Danbury. Of course, I couldn’t resist asking how he managed to get his famous nickname, “Mr. Morning,” to appear right there on the ballot.

I know politics can be a touchy subject, and whether you’re thrilled with the results or not, I truly believe the Greater Danbury area is in good hands. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to get to know many of these local leaders personally. Folks like Mayor Alves and Mayor Bass are genuinely good people who care deeply about the communities they serve and want to make a positive difference.
