I drive up and down Federal Road every day. The radio station, if you didn't know, is on a rather quiet stretch of Federal Road, right near the end of the highway portion of Rt. 7 in Brookfield. If you took a right out of our radio station driveway, you'd end up and the 4 corners, the intersection of Rt. 25 and Federal Road. This area has seen a ton of redevelopment over the past two years.

A little further down the road, in the 450 Federal Road area, mountains of earth have been leveled out, and there has been a new shopping plaza slowly emerging over the past few months. I took a ride by this morning, and saw that some business signs are finally being hung out, and it even looks like WindowRama is the winner as far as opening their doors first.

A couple of doors down, there is Premiere Home Design just starting to sprout up.

And right next door to them it's Blu Spa & Massage

But the place that catches my eye, obviously, it the new Del Primo Ristorante and Bar

There seemed to be a lot of activity: contractors, HVAC supply trucks, and tradesmen moving into and out of Del Primo, I'd say that it's got to be at least a few weeks, if not more, away from opening.

The plaza itself is very nicely done. Plenty of ample parking, and I like the way that the building is seemingly halved with a breezeway right next to Del Primo. There is a a lot more open storefront in the plaza, there will be quite a few more merchants it seems, in the months to come.
