As the weather gets warmer, the boating season begins to ramp up on Candlewood Lake.

Lou started up the conversation in typical "Lou" fashion by saying, "I'd like to see more boobies on the lake!" Of course, you would Lou.

I then chimed in about the tons of boat traffic on Saturday and Sunday afternoons when it's a beautiful, hot day. Weekend boaters seem to think that it's OK to go tubing with their kids right smack dab in the middle of the lake's highest traffic areas. It's annoying and presents a safety issue for both kids and other boaters. We then went to the phones to find out what our listeners had to say. Here's how that went:

The Candlewood Lake Authority is currently accepting volunteers for their Annual Candlewood Lake Clean-Up scheduled for Saturday, May 19 with the rain date on Sunday, May 20. If you would like to sign up as a volunteer or a boat captain, click Candlewoodlakeauthority.org, and I'll see you on the lake!
