Early Morning Car Fire on I-84, Danbury FD Responds
An early morning car fire on I-84 prompted Danbury's Bravest to spring into action Thursday (November 2).
As the day's first round of commuters hit the highway, the Danbury Fire Department responded to reports that a vehicle had caught fire and was parked along the shoulder on the right hand side of Interstate 84, just before exit 2.
As you can see from the photo gallery below, the car was engulfed in flames, but the fire crew from the Hat City blocked the oncoming traffic with a fire engine and extinguished the blaze without any further incident or injuries reported.
