I don't know why, but I didn't know this was a thing that the public had access to.

There are live traffic cameras in Danbury that you can check whenever you want. This is actually bad news for me because I'll never go anywhere again. The next time my wife wants to anywhere, I'll be checking the cameras on I-84 to get evidence that will support us staying home instead.

Oh, you want to go to my mom's? Forget it, look at that traffic on I-84. You want to take the kids to a museum in Bridgeport? Nope, look at the traffic there, also it's Bridgeport so no to that based on many other reasons. You can view these live cameras at CT Roads but I have the individual links for the Danbury ones below for you. Just click on the CAM number you want to see below.

While this is mildly helpful, I am extremely underwhelmed by the quality. What are we doing? This is 2022, we're supposed to have flying cars and gravity boots by now. I can instantly talk to someone in Bangladesh on my phone but I can't get a clear look at Exit 5 in Danbury? We can mine for minerals on Mars but I can't see a rubberneck based backup at Exit 6?

Where are all those tax dollars going that we send to Hartford? The dough is certainly not going into HD quality traffic cams, I can tell you that much.

High Definition View From Way Above Bethel

Bethel is a beautiful place to stroll around at street level or to view from above like "basspig" did with their drone, from high above the town.

100 Diverse Danbury Eateries to Keep Your Taste Buds Busy

It's a lot to take in, Danbury has well over one hundred places to eat, these just happen to be the 100 Hat City spots that I can remember from the top of my head.

NOTE: There is a link in the description box to each businesses' menu or website.
