I almost jumped out of my chair with excitement when I saw this post on Reddit.

On Friday June 23, 2023 a Reddit user/onlinestevenn shared a bit of an audio recording to the Danbury, CT group with a heading that read "weird noise from the woods." The detailed video description said: "Recently just moved here and I've happened to pick up on a pattern of noises i hear on a nightly basis, mostly around 8pm-4am. I wanna say its a deer maybe but i cant be too sure about that, tell me what you think?"
I played it a few times and was not able to hear it well and then it occurred to me, YOU'RE IN A SOUND STUDIO FULL OF EDITING EQUIPMENT! HAZAAAA! I enhanced the audio and this time, it sounded way more interesting.
I followed up with a little hiss reduction (don't know if it helped) but it sounded better to me.
Now that you've listened what are you hearing? Is it the groans of the Sasquatch? A man with severe emphysema? Or, a cat out looking for some hog? I don't trust my instincts on this because I so badly want it to be the Bigfoot.
I hear the Bigfoot, I do. In fact, I picked up a hint of John Lithgow in there. Something is afoot in the woods of Danbury and it's got a BIG FOOT!

Greater Danbury Bobcat Sightings, Too Close for Comfort
This morning (4/28/21) on the Ethan and Lou Show we were discussing a viral video from North Carolina. In it, a couple was brutally attacked by a rabid bobcat but according to USA Today, they are going to be OK.
This sent me off on a tirade about bobcats because this happens to be one of my pet peeves. In the Greater-Danbury area, wildlife sightings are frequent and when one animal gets photographed, everyone piles on and says, yeah me too You saw a bear? I saw a bear!
I made the case that too many people are claiming to have seen bobcats recently, and with no proof. I said, look I know they are prevalent but they can't be around in the numbers that people will have you believe. Every Frank and Fran in the area says they saw one yesterday.
I said, if you saw a bobcat, prove it. It looks like I may have been underestimating the bobcats and the Ethan and Lou listeners because they did prove it and in a hurry. These are the Greater-Danbury Bobcat Sightings That are Too Close for Comfort.
