According to the News Times, tomorrow is the kickoff of the first ever fashion week in Danbury. The event runs until Saturday (July 28) when it is capped with the runway show at 261 Main St.

Fashion week was organized by local business woman, Meagan Neville. Meagan is the founder of Workspace Collective on Main Street, and while fashion is the centerpiece of the week there will also be live music, food and a film screening.

The runway show on Saturday (July 28) is a multi-level night of fun. The cocktail hour is from 5-6 pm, the fashions shows themselves go from 6-8 pm and the after party is from 8-9 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and kids get in for $12, which you can purchase and get all the details on this big week in Danbury here.

Now I'll be honest, I'm not a big fashion guy. Fact is, I don't know my ass from my elbow about it and it's not tough to see that when you look at me. I do, however, love Danbury and all of the great activities that the city spoils us with. Just add this event to that ever-growing list.

Will I be attending, you ask? Yes I will. I will, in fact, be part of a fashion exhibit called: "This is 1997 — what not to wear in 2018." Should be a good time.
