I grew up in Brewster, NY which borders Western, CT and always loved living close to Danbury, CT.

When I moved to the Hat City as an adult, I adopted this as my home and embraced it fully. I work in the Greater Danbury area, all my friends are here, my family and all the activities I enjoy are in one place.

I decided this was my home and I was going to enjoy it for everything it is, and not concern myself too much with what it is not. Not everyone shares my positivity for Danbury and the Constitution State, particularly on social media. It's rare that you open an article or click a link with CT in the title that does not have a negative message.

CT has it's problems with high taxes, transportation infrastructure and a history of corrupt or inept politicians, but so do a lot of other places. I ask myself the same question all the time, do the pros outweigh the cons? For me, the pros in CT heavily outweigh the cons.

I love the four seasons, the landscape, the food, the art, the entertainment and the historic architecture in this state. These positive points allow me to tolerate the things I dislike because no place is perfect.

Because I am so sick of listening to people piss and moan about CT, I went to the "web" in search of others who do love it here and found these people in the most unlikely place, Reddit.

CT Residents Share Glowing Reviews of the Nutmeg State

When you live somewhere it's easy to discuss what is wrong with the place or what can be done to make it better. However, it's not that often that a person or persons will share what they appreciate about their home. I love Connecticut, so I went in search of others who love it too and found some great reviews about the best things about living in the Nutmeg State. These glowing reviews of CT came from Reddit of all places, on the Connecticut page.

I could not avoid making room for that shot at Florida from "BronxBerner." My biggest pet peeve is people who live in CT, constantly complain about it, claim they have plans to move to Florida but never do. Just go already!

You can join your friends in the Sunshine State, pretending your quality of life has been improved while incessantly messaging friends back in the North to tell them what the temperature is.

If you are so busy having a good time in Florida, why are you constantly talking about New York, CT and New Jersey? Enjoy yourself and good luck getting a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll tough guy.  Florida you say?

The comments I gathered are from the Connecticut Reddit page, I highly recommend it whether you want to complain or not, there is something for everyone.

I do have a sense of humor about the topic so I can appreciate when someone does a good job of taking shots at CT, this one is a good example.

As much as I love Joe Rogan, and I do, I don't think his CT hatred makes sense based on his many explanations.

Inside the Premier Party for the Danbury Trashers Netflix Documentary

My name is Lou Milano, I am the co-host of the Ethan and Lou Morning Show on I-95. Recently, I attended the local premier of the Netflix film "Untold: Crime & Penalties" about the Danbury Trashers. The Trashers were a United Hockey League team that were around for a short time in the 2000' s in Western, CT but the team and ownership left a lasting impact.

The premier was open to the public and would take place inside the building where the Trashers played hockey, the Danbury Ice Arena. I decided to watch the movie at my house before going to the event. I wanted to use the time at the arena to interview the people in the film, and give an inside look into the night. This was my night out, with the cast of the film and the Trashers.

The Bigfoot Field Research Organization is a legit group that takes the business of Bigfoot very seriously, so if you have had an encounter with a Bigfoot, you should not hesitate to reach out to them. These are 10 of the most extraordinary Bigfoot sightings in the Nutmeg State.
