CT Governor Ned Lamont Visits Empire of the Incas + Other Danbury Businesses
Danbury is a special city, with a rich history and I love living here.
What I've noticed since moving here years ago is that there are very strong political opinions. It's more than that, the people he care about their city and are convinced they know how to fix it. Unlike other places I've lived, the people here actually get involved and attempt to make their city better.
That kind of energy and passion creates a whirlwind effect around election days. This is where we find ourselves right now, we're in that moment, so the Democrats brought out their biggest name yesterday, right to the center of Danbury. Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont visited several Hat City businesses yesterday, ending the tour at Empire of the Incas on Main Street.
CT Governor Ned Lamont Made a Surprise Visit to Danbury Yesterday
Was it really a surprise visit?
It was to me, surprising, in that I learned about it the day before. It sounds way better that way.
P.S. Empire of the Incas is blocks from my home and one of my favorite places to eat. If you haven't been, go! Get the Tallarin Verde con Bistec - Peruvian style pesto pasta with pan-fried steak. You will thank me.
P.S. #2 - I don't think it's a coincidence that I called Lamont, "Ned The Head" when he came on our show years ago, and now he calls his fans "Ned Heads." Listen below and tell me what you think.
