Connecticut Woman Murdered In Car, Munhunt Underway
UPDATE: Police have announced that a manhunt is currently underway in search of 41-year-old Tramaine Marquese Poole (pictured above).
While police haven't specifically identified Poole as the suspect in last night's fatal shooting, it's believed that the murder is related to a shooting earlier in the month on May 7, which left a 36-year-old unidentified woman hospitalized.
A press release from the New Haven Police Department says that the 36-year-old who was shot on May 7 claimed she was shot by her husband, who detective believe is Tramaine Marquese Poole.
Police say that when officers arrived to last night's reported shooting (May 31), They found that a 28-year-old woman had been fatally shot inside her car within the intersection of Wilmont and Wintergreen in New Haven. She reported had her two young children in the car with her at the time of the shooting, one 6-year-old and one 11-year-old.
Since detectives believe that the two shootings are related, the identities of all victims involved are currently being withheld for their protection and the integrity of the investigation.
Tramaine Marquese Poole is about 5'11'' and weighs about 160 lbs. He may be wearing a disguise including a dreadlock wig.
