If you're like me, you have been on your favorite stores' website almost every day, wondering what next you can buy online. Quarantine is getting the best of us, am I right? Well, one store I have been anxiously waiting to reopen, is TJ Maxx. They ended up opening their online store a few weeks back, but limiting the amount of sales on it per day.

Now this is the news I've been waiting for,  TJX Companies - the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods, have announced in a press release that they expect most of their stores to be open by the end of June.

According to the press release, they have already reopened about 1600 out of their 4,545 stores, but none of our local stores in the Danbury area have made it there just yet. With Phase One of the reopening plan just happening, I expect to see retail business slowly start opening to the best of their abilities in the most socially distanced ways possible.

TJX Companies stated that they plan to take all safety measures into affect while opening their stores, including mandatory face masks, protective shields at the registers, fitting rooms being temporarily closed, and new cleaning regimens in all stores.

The closest TJ Maxx locations in our area are Danbury, New Milford, Southbury, Newtown, and Wilton. While all of these stores are currently closed, I am looking forward to their reopening plans by the end of June. It's just another excuse for a cute summer outfit - at a good price, too!
