Connecticut Breweries Keep the Beer Flowing Despite Closures

The restaurant and bar closures have obviously hit a lot of small businesses hard, including CT's booming brewery business. Many local breweries have adjusted their hours and operations to accommodate curbside pickup and to-go sales. Here's a rundown of what's going on with our area breweries:

Housatonic River Brewing, New Milford: Open Wednesday through Friday from 3-6 PM and Saturday from noon-4 PM for can sales and new growler fills. They cannot fill used growlers. Order online and then stop by for pickup during business hours.

Reverie Brewing, Newtown: Open Monday-Thursday 4-8 PM and Friday-Sunday Noon-6 PM for can sales and new growler fills. If you have a Reverie growler you can exchange it for a new one at no cost. If you don't want to come into the taproom you can call in your order (203) 872-2124 and they will bring it out for curbside pickup.

Charter Oak Brewing, Danbury: Allowing ‘grab and go’ pick up of a 6 pack or growler at the brewery.  Customers can elect to swing by, call the brewery 203/616-5268 and they will bring the beer to car, or choose to enter the taproom.

Nod Hill Brewery, Ridgefield: Open Wednesday & Thursday 3-8 PM, Friday & Saturday Noon-8 and Sunday Noon-5 PM. Cans and new growler sales only, new growler glasses are 50% off at this time. Cards only, no cash.

Woodbury Brewing Company, Woodbury: Open daily from 12-6 PM with cans to go and curbside pickup.

Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery, Bethel: Open Wednesday- Saturday 12-6 PM and Sunday 12-4 PM for both food and beer delivered through their window. They ask that you call in your orders and pay for them over the phone to limit contact.

Redding Beer Company, Redding: open starting Wednesday at 5 PM for pickup of growlers, pint bottles and kegs. Place your orders online and stop by for pickup.

Black Hog Brewing, Oxford: Open Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 PM for can sales only. If you call ahead and place your order they will bring it outside for curbside pickup.

This list will be updated as more breweries list their operating hours for the week. A lot of these folks are doing this on tight budgets, and for the love of beer, please support them. Stopping by to grab a 6-pack or two to go would go a long way towards keeping our awesome local craft beer scene rocking when things get back to normal.
