We caught up with Giorgio ahead of the show to talk about the phenomenon, the fans, and the age of UFO disclosure.
Lou: I'm curious about this time period that we're in now. We've waited many years for the age of disclosure, and now that we're in it, I feel like I look around, and the people here in this country — and internationally — don't seem to care, and it's freaking me out.
Giorgio: "Right? It's pretty interesting — which, by the way, illustrates to me that we, as a society, as a civilization, can handle the truth. We can know about UFOs because, clearly, nobody cares. When they released the Pentagon Papers in December of 2017 — this was on a Friday — they said all of those legacy programs that the U.S. military has had, you know, trying to do crash retrievals, and Majestic 12, and Project Blue Book, and all those allegedly false programs, were all true. And this was released on a Friday — no panic ensued — and Monday morning, guess what? Everybody went to work. So it’s not like if tomorrow we are told, “Yes, aliens exist,” we would all stop working. I mean, it’s like, “OK, now we know we are not alone in the universe.” But this somehow absolves us from any and all responsibility, so I’m not quite sure what that is all about."
