Lowest Gas Prices in the Greater-Danbury Area – August 2025
According to AAA, the national average price for a gallon of regular gas has dipped to $3.14, a two-cent drop from last week. July ends with a monthly average of $3.15—the same as it was in July 2021, marking the last time summer gas prices were this low. While both crude oil prices and gas demand have inched up, they haven’t risen enough to drive up costs at the pump in any significant way.
