2 Accused of Stealing From Deli in Patterson on July 4
A Putnam County teen and a 21-year-old are accused of breaking into a local deli and burglarizing the place.
On Tuesday, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced their investigation regarding a Fourth of July burglary from a Putnam County Deli led to two arrests.
On July 4 around 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Border-Line Deli on Fairfield Drive in the Town of Patterson.
Arriving officers noticed the store's front door and window were broken and the business was burglarized, police say. Police searched the are, but couldn't find any suspects.
As police continued their investigation, they allege 18-year-old David L. Lussier of Putnam Valley and 21-year-old Timothy J. Yeager of Eastport stole from the deli.
Both were charged with burglary and criminal mischief, felonies. Yeager was arraigned at Patterson Justice Court and was released on his own recognizance. Lussier was remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bail-bond.
