1st Annual JJ Stacks And i95 Craft Beer Fest This Weekend In Brookfield
I think my first sip of beer came at a softball park somewhere in Southeast Kansas from my dad's golden Coors can. Truth be told it was a huge sip, the first of many, many, many sips. I don't drink beer anymore but I certainly know its appeal and popularity, especially craft beer.
So If you like beer, and I bet you do, we have an event for you. It's the 1st Annual JJ Stacks and i95 Craft Beer Fest and it's happening this very weekend. Joe at JJ Stacks is celebrating his 2nd anniversary, a good friend of i95 and it was a perfect fit for us to join forces to help support a local restaurant and local brewery, as well as highlight the incredible tastes other area breweries have to offer.
There will be 2 sessions, one from 12 to 3, and one from 4 to 7, and both will be at JJ Stacks located at 537 Federal Road in Brookfield. Tickets are 40 bucks and you get a 5 oz tasting glass, music, and, of course, tasty beer. The first 100 tickets will receive a commemorative t-shirt and these things are going to be a collector's item folks.
The 12 to 3 session will have music from Holley McCreary and the 3 to 7 will feature Groove Machine. Tasty beverages will come from local breweries Reverie, Nod Hill, Broken Symmetry, Watson Farmhouse, Newsylum, and More. Here are a couple of easy links to get your tickets for Session 1 and Session 2.
OK, kids, the place to be and be seen is at JJ Stacks this weekend not only is it their 2nd Birthday Party, but it's also the 1st Annual JJ Stacks and i95 Craft Beer Fest. It is sure to be a blast and you should have one or six for me. Thanks for hanging out and when you are at the beer fest, track down our super-handsome sales guy Michael Ech and say "hi" to him for me!
