7 of the Scariest Haunted Houses in Connecticut for Halloween 2022
October is finally here, and if my daughter lived here with me she would be having the time of her life. Fall in the northeast is amazing and there is no shortage of things to see and do. Especially when it comes to spooky, Halloween-type things.
Growing up I always made it a point to visit at least one "Haunted House" during the Halloween season. My favorites were always a long drive away in the Kansas City or Joplin, Missouri area. They were some of the scariest and creepiest places I have ever been to and without a doubt, there is a plethora of places here in Connecticut to enhance your Halloween celebration to its fullest potential. We found a few spooky places to visit that you need to check out if you are into that sort of thing, which I am.
We will take a peek at Nightmare Acres in South Windsor, Terror At Quassy in Middlebury, Legends of Fear in Shelton, Evidence of Evil - Haunted Orchard in Middlefield, Trail of Terror in Wallingford, Haunting at the Ridge in Middlefield, and Rails to the Darkside - Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor. All look like an amazing, fun Halloween-type time and adventure.
If you get to go to any of these awesome attractions, please let me know what it was like and maybe include a pic or two. Now let's get to it, here are some very spectacularly spooky Halloween havens you should experience for 2022.
