Jeffrey's Chinese Kitchen at 7 Pembroke Rd., otherwise known as Rt. 37, in Danbury is our go-to Chinese take-out restaurant. Yelp and Googlre reviewers give it a 4.15/5. Simply put, we find the food fresher and tastier than other Chinese take-outs.

CHENG SQUARE - Middlebury
I checked with I-95's Large Dave, who's a definite foodie and asked him about his favorite Chinese take-out joint and he told me, "Cheng Square in Middlebury is f***ing unreal!" That's good enough for me! They're located at 1655 Straites Turnpike in Middlebury.

Kai's Place located at 45 Padanaram Rd. Danbury made the list simply for the rave reviews on Yelp and Google reviews which was 4.5/5. Many reviewers raved about their Szechuan Dumplings and Crab Ragoon. Ohhh boy, gonna have to try this place now!

MOON STAR CHINESE KITCHEN - Brookfield
Moon Star at 483 Federal Road in Brookfield also gets high end reviews! Yelp and Google reviewers give it a 4.5/5. Often mentioned as favs were the General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and their Crab Rangoon. Who was this General Tso guy anyway?

NEW HAVEN'S TASTE OF CHINA - New Haven
Not only is Taste of China located at 954 Chapel St. in New Haven great for take-out but it's also a beautiful eat-in restaurant as well, which makes me wish Taipei Tokyo was still around in Danbury. This could be the foodies go-to Chinese restaurant, but is it worth the drive? One last thing, I don't need the music jumping out at me when I click on the website. Just a pet-peeve of mine.
