They did it! The WestConn Colonials took the top spot to win the Little East Conference Tournament.

The 88-75 win over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth earns the Colonials an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Championships as they take on Tufts University in the first round this Friday, March 6 at 6 pm in Massachusetts according to the WestConn Athletics website.

Fenton Bradley Jr., the Colonial's senior forward ran away with the LEC Tournament's Most Outstanding Player Award. The team was 22-7 overall for the season and averaged 77.9 pts per game along with 41.5 rebounds and their record at home was 13-1.

WestConn's last of five LEC titles happened 15 years ago in 2005 when they beat Plymouth State 135-130 in double overtime which turned out to be the most exciting game in the league's history.
