The 7-Eleven convenience store on Davis Street in Oakville was robbed last night, and the Watertown Police are looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who may be involved with similar robberies in the area over the past few days. According to a press release on the official Watertown Police Department Facebook page, Watertown PD responded to an armed robbery call last night, Thursday November 19, 2020, at 10:50PM. at the 7-Eleven convenience store, which is located at 188 Davis Street in Oakville. According to the report, an unidentified male entered the store, with a handgun, and allegedly ripped the cash drawer from the cash register.

The man is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, brown hair, with a thin build, 135-150 pounds, between 5'5" - 5'8" tall, wearing dark colored sweats, a hoodie, disposable mask, black gloves, and glasses.

The suspect fled in what is thought to be a 2007-2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, with a decent-sized dent on the hood, near the passenger headlight, and 6-spoke rims.

The front and read marker plates on the vehicle were obstructed. Watertown Police believe that the suspect may be involved in similar robberies that have been reported in Wolcott and Thomaston, over the past few days.
