Was There Ever an IKEA in Danbury?

I was arguing with people all day yesterday about this.

I could have sworn there was one over by the mall across from where "Strawberries" used to be.  In fact I am convinced that I bought furniture there.  I remember vividly that I was making Swedish jokes the whole time.

Is it possible I imagined this?  Is it possible that as people have been telling me I confused it with Pier 1 Imports?  Is it possible I was teleported to another dimension where there are IKEA's on every corner?  I just don't know what to believe anymore.

This will haunt me for an eternity.  How can I believe I was somewhere people insist I never was?  Did I not eat meatballs and get my SWEDE on?  It's a mystery for the ages...that or I confused it with Pier 1 Imports.
