When it comes to celebrating Thanksgiving, WalletHub's annual ranking reveals the best places to gather for the holiday. Factors like food prices, local traditions, pumpkin patches, volunteer opportunities, and weather all play a role in determining the ideal destinations. This year, it may surprise you to find that the top cities are largely in California and Kentucky.

The Top 20 Cities for Thanksgiving (According to WalletHub)

1. San Diego, CA
2. Atlanta, GA
3. San Francisco, CA
4. San Jose, CA
5. Dallas, TX
6. Lexington, KY
7. San Antonio, TX
8. Las Vegas, NV
9. Louisville, KY
10. Orlando, FL
11. Scottsdale, AZ
12. St. Paul, MN
13. Cincinnati, OH
14. Chesapeake, VA
15. Houston, TX
16. Virginia Beach, VA
17. Oklahoma City, OK
18. Charlotte, NC
19. Irving, TX
20. Los Angeles, CA

Not only was Connecticut not in the Top 20 but we didn't make the Top 100. How is that possible? Thanksgiving is a vibe, a holiday based around charm and ambience and no state has more of that than Connecticut.

The town in Gilmore Girls was based on a real Connecticut town. The Hallmark Channel shoots half their movies here. We have towns that look like they were extracted from a f---- snow globe. What are we even talking about?

San Diego is awesome for beach fun but do you want to be sweating behind your knees on Thanksgiving? How does a person even eat stuffing when it's 80 degrees out? This whole thing is poppycock and has me calling Wallet Hub's work into question and this is coming from a Wallet Hub fan.

Was there a change in leadership over there? Who is running things now, Andrew Tate? This is absurdity! LAUGHABLE!

17 Stunning Danbury Photos Along With Random Odd Facts About the City

The day I took this round of pictures (September 15 or 16th I can't remember), the light all over the city was just perfect. The sun was dancing in all the right places on the buildings, the trees and the grass. I said to hell with it, I'm publishing these photos. But what should I write in the description? I decided to pair the images with odd Danbury facts I gathered from prior articles.

Maybe this works out, maybe not at least I can say "look at this!"
