Over the Winter, the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford put on a big drive-thru Holiday lights display, it was a pretty cool thing to do to bring some visual beauty and magic back into our Coronavirus-restricted lives.

Although Dinosaurs aren't as beautiful, they sure can be magical to kids and I admit, fat, middle-aged men like me. I just saw that Six Flags New England is putting on a walk-through Dinosaur experience that features 20 life-sized dinosaurs with realistic movements and sounds. Six Flags New England is not too far from here at all, it's located about 20 minutes North of Hartford near Springfield in Agawam, Massachusetts.

The official name of the event is Dinosaurs: A Walk-Thru Experience and it's running April 10 - May 23 on weekends and select days. 20 life-sized Dinosaurs are going to be set up through a portion of Six Flags New England. It's important to note that the rides at Six Flags are not going to be operating, the park is still mostly closed down due to the pandemic restrictions. Six Flags states that they will be selling food and snacks at select food stands, and some retail stores will be open too. It sounds like a fun opportunity to get your little Dinosaur enthusiast out of the house.

If you've bought season passes for Six Flags, you're all set, this event is free of charge. Single tickets to the event are on sale, through advance reservations only, at $19.99 a pop for adults, and $9.99 for kids 48" and under. For more information, and to make your reservations, click HERE
