This is my Family

This is my family.  Conventionality be damned.  We are mixed in more ways than one and without a doubt have so many challenges and problems, but I'll go to war with these guys by my side before anyone else.

We have been trying to raise kids, untangle problems, move our careers along and take care of each other in the face of unreasonable obstacles.  Everyday I am amazed by my partner and my children - they all challenge me, demand the most of me and give me so much happiness.

I don't like sharing this with strangers because it should be for them, but I will pretend like it's a letter to my parents or my grandma because a lot of people should know that there are angels on earth and four of them live in my house.
