According to most, Massachusetts has the worst drivers in all of New England. Connecticut? The second worst, but worry not, we're closing the gap.

As the Summer vacations kick off, more and more New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland license plates will clog up I-84, I-95 and the Merritt. All of the Mid-Atlantic will have to drive through here to get to their precious vacation rentals in the Cape, Rhode Island or Northern New England, and the Northern New Englanders will come through on their way to warmer lands. One thing that they all agree on is Connecticut drivers are oblivious, never go the speed limit, and are the most aggressive they've ever encountered.

Although the other five don't want to admit it, Connecticut is a New England State. Someone asked the question "Who has the worst drivers in New England on Reddit, and the drivers of Massachusetts are mentioned the most. My friends say it's the inner city aggressive drivers, coming off the confusing one-way's of Boston, or the debacle of the miles of backup to the bridges into the Cape. I've noticed that more Northern New Englanders really despise Connecticut drivers lately.

New Englanders, Mid-Atlantic and Midwesterners see Connecticut as 'The bridge' to New York City or Boston. We don't exist to them, just as Western Mass doesn't exist to Boston, Albany isn't New York, it's only Manhattan. Connecticut is lumped into Manhattan to outsiders. We're just one pinch point. Online complainers moan incessantly about getting impatient, aggressive drivers while stuck in Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, Milford, New Haven and Danbury, or the drivers flying through construction in Waterbury and Hartford.
