The Most Expensive Steak Dinners in Connecticut – 2024
I love beef. A Prime Rib would be my last meal if I could choose, and I will spare no expense to get the finest cut that my money could buy. Our anniversary, my birthday, or a Saturday night, the one thing that I will always splurge on is a steak dinner.
Last year I did some research to find out who serves the most expensive steak dinner in Connecticut. A year and a half later, it's time to see if the prices have come down or gone up.
Outside of our casinos, the most expensive steak that I could find in Fairfield County was not in Greenwich, Westport, or South Norwalk. The 88 oz. T-Bone steak served up at Joseph's Steakhouse, 360 Fairfield Ave in Bridgeport will set you back $216. In April 2023? The same steak was priced at $216. No increase, respect it Joseph's. Not hungry enough to eat a steak for 4? A 24 oz dry-aged Porterhouse is listed for $73.
For the most expensive steak dinners in 2024, haul yourself down to beautiful Southeastern Connecticut and set yourself up for the 32oz 40-day dry-aged Cowboy Ribeye at David Burke Prime at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket. That beautiful slab of beef will cost you $159, but the A5 M12 Certified Kobe Beef Filet mignon is an outrageous $360. At Michael Jordan's Steakhouse inside Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, the $340 'Legendary Flight' is a 42oz tomahawk, an 18oz KC strip, a 12oz and an American Wagyu strip, with half a lobster 4 shrimp, and sausage on the side to wash the beef down.
If you need me, I'll be out looking for 10 cent empties on the side of 395.
