According to the Democrat & Chronicle, New York is totally vibing with the swinging lifestyle. If you thought the Empire State was just about Broadway and bagels, think again—it's ranked #2 in the country for swinging (right behind Pennsylvania). That's right, people here are Googling "wife swapping," "swing lifestyle," and "sex parties" like it's nobody's business.

Joy Love Dolls did a deep dive into Google Trends, and here's what they found: New Yorkers are super curious about the swinger world, with 590 searches per 100,000 people per month. Apparently, it’s not just about the hookup—many swingers are all about building "friendships with benefits." (No, really, that’s their tagline.)

But don’t dive in like it’s Doublemint gum and think you can “double your pleasure, double your fun”—swinging is apparently more about adding a little spice, versus fixing a relationship. It's more like Lay's chips: “Bet you can’t swing just once.” So, if you're looking for some extra excitement and you're in NY or CT, it appears you have a talent pool to work with.

If you're wondering why I chose an upside-down pineapple for my featured image, bless your heart. The upside-down pineapple is actually the ultimate symbol that you're "open for business" in the swinging world. So, a word of caution: steer clear of anything with pineapple designs from Crate & Barrel if you’re not looking to swing. If you happen to innocently install a pineapple mailbox, be prepared—suddenly, your front lawn might be swarming with thirsty swinger urchins ready for a freak fest.

I wonder if this, is what that Rise Against song was about?

70's-90s: Connecticut and New York's Favorite Games from Childhood

On a recent episode of the I-95 Morning Show, we reached out to our Connecticut and New York listeners, asking them to share some of their favorite childhood games. With their help, we were able to recall many of the games that defined the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Those decades were filled with a delightful mix of absurd, often violent, and absolutely joyful games.
