Police: Suicidal Teen Rescued by Connecticut State Trooper on I-84
Last week, Troop A in Southbury took an emergency call about a girl walking on I-84 in Waterbury.
That's when Connecticut State Trooper, Sgt. Ryan Hennessey was dispatched and sprang into action. According to WTNH, a 16-year-old girl had been reported walking on I-84 in Waterbury near The Mixmaster. Sgt. Hennessey raced to the scene, jumped out of his vehicle while blocking traffic and raced across the highway, making sure the teen was safe. The girl had reportedly confessed to friends that she wanted to end her life. Connecticut Police have reported that the girl is doing much better and she's getting the help she needs.
