They say the time period leading up to the holidays is THE most stressful time of year.  OK.  While I agree it is stressful let me say that I think it's the month of January.  The reasons being are many.

Let's say for instance you are having financial troubles or going through a divorce.  Chances are all parties involved in those instances are likely to pump the brakes and ease off on stressful formalities from Nov. 28th until January 2nd or 3rd.  That's a nice reprieve, also those are extreme examples.  You might just be having a quarrel with a neighbor, boss or family member and if the person has any sanity at all they are too busy with their life to consider any misgivings between them and you.   So here we are post January 1st, the bell rings and the fight is back on, not only that but you have to start paying for the financial mistakes leading up to Christmas and you have your New Year's Resolution to contend with and the weather is enough to make you want to pull your short hair's out one at a time.  The best advice I have given myself in past year's is to breathe.  After tax season it's pretty much all over.  By May you have recovered financially and your problems are on hold again for the summer because everyone wants their summer break.  Wherever you go In June or July....envision yourself there and breathe cause it's here before you know it.   How's that!?  Yes I was positive.  Choke on it.  And don't expect a lot of it.  I hate you and myself right now but we will get there.  Just breathe and stay away from the mutants that give you stress!
