Man, the venues in Ridgefield sure do attract world-class talent, don't they? I've seen countless show announcements for the Ridgefield Playhouse that have me do a double take over the years. It happened to me today for a different Ridgefield venue.

We received a press release here at the station about an upcoming show at ACT (A Contemporary Theater) of Connecticut in Ridgefield, which features two gentlemen that have very big roles in the new Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill. One of the lead actors in the musical is Derek Klena, who stars as Nick Healy. He'll be coming to ACT on Monday December 16 to perform with ACT's Resident Music Supervisor Bryan Perri, who just so happens to also be the Music Director for Jagged Little Pill.

Klena and Perri will perform as part of ACT's Broadway Unplugged series, where Perri will accompany Klena on piano as he performs songs from his past and present performances.

I love Alanis Morissette and her Jagged Little Pill album, I saw her perform up at the Meadows in Hartford back in the day, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her musical on Broadway. This is an excellent way to catch world-class talent right here in town. You can get tickets to the ACT of CT performance by clicking HERE.

If you want to go all the way and make it a night in the city at a great musical, get your tickets and find out more about Jagged Little Pill HERE
