Stamford’s Half Full Brewery Introduces Nitro Hard Coffee
If you like your coffee with a kick, you'll be excited to learn about a new product from two Stamford companies. Half Full Brewery and RISE Brewing company have collaborated on the market's first Nitro Hard Coffee.
Rise & Grind coffee is a new product that the two companies developed together. Half Full is a great Stamford brewery, and RISE brews Nitro cold-brew coffee in kegs and cans. The two came together to create a beverage made from organic coffee and malt. It has an ABV of 5%.
Rise & Grind has no added alcohol and contains only naturally occurring alcohol that is created during the brew's fermentation process. It's also dairy free and has no added sugar. Half Full's website describes the drink as "perfect for tailgating and 4 PM happy hours," so just remember that it does have a little kick to it and you may not want to have it with your breakfast if you plan on getting much work done that day.
Half Full founder, Connor Horrigan, said, "nothing energizes us more at Half Full than doing collaborations with others in our community. RISE has always echoed this sentiment and Rise & Grind blends the best aspects of our companies — creativity, innovation, passion, malt and coffee — into a unique new beverage and category.”
According to RISE Brewing co-founder Jarrett McGovern, "RISE has always echoed this sentiment and Rise & Grind blends the best aspects of our companies — creativity, innovation, passion, malt and coffee — into a unique new beverage and category.”
Right now, the brew is available at the Half Full Brewery, 43 Homestead Avenue in Stamford, but will be distributed throughout Connecticut very soon.
