Southbury Police have put out a request for the public's assistance in helping them to identify two suspects that allegedly stole merchandise from a store in town last week. Just a few moments ago, the Southbury Police took to their official Facebook page to say that they are looking to identify the two people in the attached photograph, after an incident at the Ulta Beauty location in Southbury Plaza.

According to the Southbury Police, at 12:45PM last Wednesday, October 8, 2020, the two individuals in the photograph were alleged to be involved in a larceny from the Ulta beauty location in the Southbury Plaza at 100 Main Street North. If you know them, or have any knowledge of the incident, you're being asked to call Officer Vichiola at 203-264-5912 and they assure you that all calls and information will be kept confidential.

These incidents hit very close to home for me personally, because, full disclosure, Mrs. Large works at an Ulta Beauty location here in Connecticut. I can't tell you how many times that she has come home from her job, and reported that another one of these types of incidents had occurred at an Ulta location around the state.

Some of the fragrances and accessories on the shelves in-stores are in the $100+ range, and most of the items are small and easy to conceal. There is only so much that employees can do, store and company policies are in place for the employees safety. But, this is why your help in these cases can be important, if you can, please do so.
