With the last of the outdoor socially-distant music shows wrapping up for the year before November's really cold weather sets in, it leaves most of us wondering when live events will make their return here in Connecticut.

Most venues have now been handicapped yesterday with the announcement of the rollback to Phase 2 coronavirus regulations here in the state, but, there are still a couple of places to catch another great art form - stand up comedy - over the next couple of weeks. The first one that caught my attention is Powder Ridge Ski Resort in Middlefield, they're bringing comedian, Christian Finnegan, in for an indoor, socially-distanced comedy show on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Also this week, Foxwoods Resort Casino announced that they're re-opening their Grand Theater, and that they're going to be bringing in a few comedians to get a slate of shows going there again.

Seats in the Grand theater will be 6 feet apart, and there will be at least 15 feet between the first row and the performer. Foxwoods has lined up a few of their bigger comedy names for shows over the next couple of months, including Vic Dibitetto on November 13, Anthony Rodia on December 4, and a guy who I saw blow Adam Sandler off the stage in Bridgeport last year, a man who has been in more Adam Sandler movies than the man himself, Rob Schneider, on December 11.
