It was billed as the biggest storm of the season, so did it live it to the hype? How much snow fell in your town?

Throughout the area, schools were either closed or delayed, the sound of snow plows ruled the night and the sound of snow blowers could be heard all over the area this morning.

Aside from the heavy snow, more than 10,000 people in Connecticut woke up with no power this morning, as the heavy snow brought down tree branches and power lines, and even closed certain roads.

So just how much snow fell throughout Greater Danbury and in Putnam and Dutchess County? Right now, early estimates have snowfall totals anywhere from 6 inches to more than a foot in some spots.
