According to Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin, the robbers quickly removed sledgehammers from a backpack and proceeded to demolish the glass-topped case housing the expensive watches. According to the police report, they quickly grabbed 8 to 10 watches and speedily left the store.

The police say the suspects are two black men in their late 20s or early 30s wearing dark clothes and hoodies. Capt. Conklin also told the Stamford Advocate that he was pretty sure the suspects had been in the store approximately 90 minutes before the robbery in order to case the location.

Thankfully no one was injured during the smash-and-grab robbery. When they left, they jumped into an SUV and fled heading towards the High Ridge Road exit.
