Sandy Hook Families Win Legal Victory Against Conspiracy Theorist
Conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones has been ordered to hand over documents.
From an article in the New York Times, several families that filed a defamation suit against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones have won their first battle. The court has ruled that Jones must hand over internal documents from Infowars, his internet show, which is a far-right American conspiracy theory and fake news website that is owned by Jones. According to Chris Mattei, an attorney for the families told the NewsTimes:
From the beginning we have alleged that Alex Jones and his financial network trafficked in lies and hate in order to profit from the grief of Sandy Hook families.
Just a reminder that 20 children and 6 adults were gunned down just over six years ago and Mr. Jones contends that grieving loved ones of those victims were paid "crisis actors." Jones eventually went on to say that he no longer believes that the Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax and he has an absolute right to have been wrong about it. Huh? Seriously?
