    This legendary diner is located directly off Exit 10 of I-84 in Newtown.

    Established in 1973, the Blue Colony serves up delicious food in bountiful portions and their homemade desserts are simply to die for.

    Family owned and operated since 1997, you'll find the Laurel Diner at 544 Main Street South in Southbury.

    Many of the Yelp comments mentioned, "the best breakfast I've ever had." One guy, Steve T. from Waterbury posted in his Yelp review that the diner was, "No Frills and Breakfast Thrills." Driving time from Danbury to the diner takes between 20 and 25 minutes.

    O'Rourke's Diner - Middletown

    For more than 70 years, O'Rourke's at 728 Main St. in Middletown has become one of New England's legendary diner destinations.

    On August 31, 2006 O'Rourkes was destroyed by fire but the community stepped in and helped the diner rise from the ashes. If you're a corn beef hash lover, you must make the trek to Middletown and try the Dubliner Omelet filled with swiss cheese and homemade hash.

    The Post Road Diner - Norwalk

    The Post Road Diner originally built in 1947 is located at 312 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk.

    Yelp reviewers loved the attentive service and many commented on their amazing French Onion soup and incredible milkshakes.
