It doesn't matter where you are in the state of Connecticut, as the pandemic continues to wreak havoc on everyone's way of life, more and more larcenies and robberies are happening all around, even our small communities are getting hit.

There was an armed bank robbery in typically quiet Thomaston yesterday and it happened at a branch of my personal bank - Thomaston Savings Bank, at 203 Main Street.

At some point yesterday, according to the Thomaston Police Department, a suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, allegedly pulled out a gun and handed the teller a note demanding money and then fled. Thomaston Police believe the suspect is a dark-skinned female, in her mid to late 20's, wearing a Green zip-up hoodie, pajama bottoms or sweats with some kind of print on them, a knit hat, and a disposable mask.
