Hunker down! There's a powerful storm aiming for the northeast this weekend.

Meteorologists from accuweather.com and weather.com say it's coming. A southward plunge of the jet stream will cause an intense low-pressure system to develop over the northeast causing rain driven wind, flooding, and even some snow in the higher elevations. You can't beat the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore who's been battling the country's nastiness weather for 30 years.

Because of the high winds, soaking rain, and the low cloud ceiling, there's an excellent chance airline flights will be delayed as well.
