Local police are looking to the public in hopes of identifying a person of interest regarding some large purchases that were made with a stolen credit card.

According to the Newtown Police Department, the card was stolen from a resident of their town and was used to make purchases that have amounted to over $5,000. Police say the unauthorized purchases were made at three separate locations within the City of Danbury -- Best Buy on International Drive, the Apple Store located in the Danbury Fair Mall, and one of the local Starbucks stores.

The man police are looking to identify (pictured above) has been described to be a Hispanic male somewhere between the sages of  50 and 60 years old.
