A teen has been arrested after police say he was involved with multiple burglaries and vehicle thefts at a local car dealership.

According to the Danbury Police Department, 18-year-old Leon "Bishop" Brown was taken into police custody after being identified as a primary suspect in an investigation into three separate incidents that occurred at Weeks Pre-Owned Audi and Volkswagen Dealership on Mill Plain Rd. Police say that surveillance footage from the local dealership, as well as a number of relevant pieces of evidence gathered during the investigation, are what led to Brown's arrest.

Stolen cars from the first two reported incidents, which happened on July 7 and July 24, were recovered by NYPD officers in the Bronx. As the investigation into those two thefts developed, a third theft at the same Mill Plain Rd. dealership happened on Friday, July 26.

With Brown being the primary suspect in the first two thefts, members of the DPD reportedly paid a visit to an address that had been associated with the teen, where officers allegedly recovered evidence that incriminated him in the July 26 incident.

Leon "Bishop" Brown has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, larceny, criminal mischief, breach of peace, interfering with an officer and failure to comply. He is being held on two separate bonds, one for $25,000 and one for $50,000, pending release or arraignment.
