A local man has been identified as the victim in Wednesday evening's stabbing homicide in Danbury.

According to the Danbury Police Department, 21-year-old Willy Placencia was pronounced dead after being rushed to Danbury Hospital following a fight.

As previously reported, officers responded to a report of a fight that had broken out at the skate park located at 32 Patriot Drive around 6:30 PM on March 18.

When police arrived, they say they found Placencia suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The Danbury PD is currently investigating the matter, and anyone who has any information or may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Danbury Police Department's Detective Division at 203-797-4662. The DPD's anonymous tips hotline can also be reached at 203-790-8477.
