I have to say, we've been pretty lucky with the weather lately *knocks on wood*. Temperatures have been bearable and we haven't seen really any snow. That can change this weekend for parts of the state, according to weather.gov.

A significant winter storm can develop as a large nor'easter is entering into New England on Saturday and Sunday. As the storm moves toward us, there is potential for heavy snow in parts of northern Connecticut.

The National Weather Service has already released a Winter Storm Watch for Tolland and Windham counties, saying the storm watch will be in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday morning, where rain can change to heavy snow, leaving northeast Connecticut with a possible 4 to 9 inches of snow. There is a possibility for scattered power outages and downed trees, making travel potentially difficult.

Additionally, the National Weather Serivce released a Winter Weather Advisory for Northern Litchfield county in effect from Saturday 7 AM to Sunday 7 AM with a possible 2 to 5 inches of snow expected. The storm can be a potential snow and rain mix, leaving travel difficult. Make sure to use caution if you plan on traveling during these times.

As far as Greater Danbury goes, the storm doesn't seem to be making its way over here. Hopefully we can hold off on snow for a little bit longer.
